Sigli, February 8, 2024 – In a significant move to enhance civic education and public awareness, the Pendidikan Pancasila dan Kewarganegaraan (PKn) Department has entered into a strategic partnership with Lembaga Kajian Sosial Politik Aceh (LaKaspia). Rachman Hall in Keunire Sigli.

The signing event was coupled with a foundational training session on Civil Protection for students, focusing on protection from state and non-state acts of violence. The workshop was attended by 30 representatives from 23 study programs across the region, including those from Unigha, STikes Jabal Ghafur, STikes Al-Hilal, and STikes Medica Nurul Islam.

Khairil S.H., M.H., Umar Mahdi S.H., M.H., and Azriana, S.H. from LaKaspia delivered comprehensive lectures on various aspects of civil protection, engaging students and faculty alike in a dynamic learning environment.

During his opening remarks, Iqbal, S.Pd. M.Pd., highlighted the importance of this collaboration: “This initiative is not only a fusion of two institutions but a vital platform for students to engage deeply with the principles of Pancasila and citizenship through practical training sessions. It aims to raise student awareness, involve them actively in civil protection, and strengthen ties between educational and non-educational entities.”

The event concluded just before the afternoon, marked by an enthusiastic participation from both educators and students. A question and answer session further ignited engaging discussions, followed by a communal lunch.

This partnership marks a strategic step towards integrating theoretical learning with practical field experiences, thereby enriching student education and fostering a stronger community network. Moving forward, both institutions anticipate a fruitful implementation of this agreement, benefiting the PKn Department and advancing the mission of LaKaspia.
